"The smell is this store is horrible!"
"Gas station is trash, staff is trash. Not sure who the big guy is with glasses and a beard, but he's extremely rude. Talks to customers like he has an attitude, doesn't make eye contact with anyone, and when he rang me up I want even sure if he was done because he moved on to another customer before I even pulled my card out...didn't ask if I needed a receipt, didn't say "have a good day", just acted like I wasn't there. And I get working at a gas station can be taxing, but if you're going to be rude and act like your miserable...quit. Don't take whatever you have going on on other customers that have literally nothing to do with it. Simple as that."
"Oh my lord this place is horrible! So much crime and homeless in the area, trash and pipes right in front of building. I walked in and a African American gentleman and white female (both workers) were yelling and screaming. It scared my daughter! I walked up to the lady and said how ate you and she started talking to someone on the phone the whole time, didn't acknowledge me once and basically threw the money in my hand. Never going back yikes!!"
"I’ve been going to this store ever since I was a child. This is the closest store to my parents house. My parents are both in their 70’s. I work for the Department of the Navy in Virginia since 1995 and I stay with my parents during my visits. Through the years, my parents have complained about an employee, Pat, working at 1603 Goliad Rd (Circle K/Valero). They described her as a white, heavy weight women, Pat. They said Pat is always very hateful, disrespectful and has a very poor customer service. She refuses to take cash, refuses to cash scratch tickets and has refused free coffee to veterans as advertised by Circle K. Every time I’m home for a visit it never fails that I, my veteran friends, my parents and/or my veteran brother have an incident with this same individual. My recent visit during Thanksgiving and recent incident with Pat: My Mom sent me in for the daily news paper. As I was going through the news paper pile she said “we’re out of today’s newspaper. Pauses a little and says can’t you see...? I said obviously not. So, I waited patiently while she was cashing out a male customer, in which she was being very condescending and disrespectful and was correcting his pronunciation, the man had a Spanish accent. He remained very kind to her. He answered yes, Ma’am , Thank you ,Ma’am. It’s sad how our community feels that they have to deal with such poor customer service at our neighborhood store. After the gentleman left I told her that she is always very rude, and has very poor customer service. She replied “ that is not my problem” I said yes it is your problem” you work at a store and provide customer service for our area. She never wants to take dollar bills, even as small as a $10. She never wants to cash lottery tickets. She’s lazy, and doesn’t want to operate to volt to get money out. I’m sure this store is losing customers due to her hatefulness. All other stores in that same general area are 100 times better than this store. I highly recommend customers give their business to a better store."
"This place has really nice staff that works here. Which is the only reason I’m giving them the stars for their efforts The location however makes me feel so uneasy. There are tons of loiters/homeless/junkies sleeping by the front door, the side, catching me off guard out of nowhere while I’m at the pump walking around barefoot Ever since the District Attorney proposed the ordinance where police can’t kick off homeless people anymore, has gotten so ojr of hand here. The only reason I come here is because the next gas station is 3 miles down or on the highway. But I always carry my protection because the people who took over make me feel unsafe"
