"the spinach empanada and the “me latte” were amazing! the (specialty) s’mores/biscoff cookie latte was really tangy and not at all like s’mores or a biscoff cookie. instead, it tasted like a lassi or a yakult drink, which was really unexpected. unfortunately, they didn’t do refunds, but they were kind enough to make me another latte. i’m the tiniest bit bummed about that because i would’ve preferred a refund instead of another coffee, and then because my specialty latte costed a bit more than the drink it was replaced with, but i understand that a small business would have different policies than some kind of chain. though my replacement drink tasted better than the specialty one, it was still very bitter. (edit to add: it wasn’t my cup of tea so i offered it to 2 friends, but they also agreed on it being really bitter and sadly it went to waste). maybe it was just the roast..? but other than those small hiccups, it was a good experience— it was a super cute spot with a fun variety of items, amazing empanadas, and nice customer service :)"
"Coffee was expensive for tiny little cups, 13 dollars for the equivalent of two small McDonald’s coffees. The horchata latte was nothing like actual horchata, and was instead just coffee with (too much) cinnamon sprinkled on top, and the other latte I’d rather go to McDonald’s to get. Not only because it tastes the exact same, but I’d get 3 times the amount of coffee for the same price."
"The horchata latte was so delicious! Very balanced and tasty! Great customer service as well."
"My husband and I are iced coffee connoisseurs, so of course we were thrilled to see this place right outside of our neighborhood.. sad to say after trying this place twice, we are very disappointed in the iced coffee. It taste like nothing but BITTER espresso and milk. The first time, my husband got the iced horchata and it was the worst iced coffee either of us have ever tried- assuming it was just the flavor, we gave it another chance and ordered the iced Mexican Vanilla, only slightly better than our previous experience but honestly… still terrible. The matcha and the empanadas are the only thing worth trying here unless you are someone who enjoys drinking straight espresso, in that case you may like it here- however, Dunkin, Summer moon, On The Grind, and Breville(Red Runner) lovers… stay far away, you will not be happy with this."
"Wonderful Hidden Gem! Omg..find this Coffee Island now..homemade flavors and snacks.. great prices. Look for the blue-green trailer near the Taco Cabana."
