"This restaurant is a long drive from Bulverde. I have been introduced to this place about 11 years ago. I've never ever been disappointed with the relationship food at this place. I don't get there that often but it is worth the trip. Food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The service is great."

"Glad we found this local bistro! We came from a long hike/trekking at west peak overlook. We were so tired and hungry - drove to this place hoping that we will get a real good food. Backyard Bistro did NOT disappoint us. It was really good from main course to dessert. Their carrot cake was on point, not too sweet and rich with ingredients. Similar with our main course which was Pecan Crusted Chicken Breast and Egg’ Benedict with pork butt (the specialty of the day” Experience was really good and if in the event that we will be going back in that area we will for sure go back here. "What a great brunch!! Our daughter says the Buttermilk fried chicken is absolutely delicious! My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits special, it was a huge portion, perfectly buttery and well seasoned. Definitely recommend making a reservation since it's a smaller restaurant or enjoy some great antique shopping while you wait."
