"When I first found out this place was located in the back of a convenience store, I was giving the side eye. My sister said they had really good food, so I was willing to check them out. I had the Salmon Philly and seasoned fries. It was absolutely delicious! I came with a group, so we sampled each other's food. The wangz were the bomb and so was the catfish! I didn't get to sample the turkey leg, but I saw it was falling off the bone so I know it was good! The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back again!"
"First time here. We were greeted when we walked in. I been seeing the post on Instagram and been wanting to try the passion platter but the lady insisted on the Soulful Sunday menu. I got the 2 piece catfish, mac n cheese, green and corn bread. The greens have turkey in them. And my sister got the same but with seafood dressing and mac n cheese. Everything tasted good and was seasoned well. Everything was hot. The mac n cheese was cold. I might go back again to try the passion platter."
"I’ve seen this cafe on instagram and had to try it. I had the Salmon philly and my husband had the steak philly. It was delicious, seasoned to perfection in every bite . The fries were cajun , ranch .and sweet heat , I’ve never had any fries like them . The salmon and the steak was seasoned well and cooked to perfection for a sandwich. I could have had a bit more cheese on mine. The nana pudding was 8/10 . It is located in the back of a convenience store with seating for about 8 people if you decide to eat there. I give this food a 9/10 on the flavor scale and presentation of food. It is a true mom & pop spot . I highly recommend and will be back on Thursday or Friday for the Turkey Legs."
"I ordered the salmon Philly skyline 4 Cajun wings. I was headed home and took a couple of bites a noticed a piece of hair on the parchment paper right outside of the Philly. I was skeptical about how the service would be once I returned with my plate. The guy was happy to help me. He remade my order minus the wings because they were out. The salmon was juicy and a nice slight spicy flavor. The Philly was 4.5/5. I didn’t care for the wings. I’d give them a 2/5. They were a dry rub. They just taste like they were only seasoned on the outside. The wait was 50 minutes"
