"Breakfast of champions! I ordered the açaí bowl for pick-up. Two ladies welcomed me in and directed me to my order. The açaí bowl was just what I needed. Refreshing and delicious! The establishment had a great vibe, and I was in-n-out."
"I TRIED THE SUNSET SUNRISE SMOOTHIE, WAS MY FIRST TIME THERE'S IT WAS VERY GOOD I GO BACK SOON!!!"
"The food and service were good they just seemed to have a little trouble keeping up with everything they had to do due to lack of staffing."
"There I was, another day, another Friday grind, staring into the soulless abyss of a computer screen, when my stomach growls louder than my neighbor's Chihuahua at 3AM. I think, "Time for a rescue mission, stomach," and hit up the Tropical Smoothie Cafe's online ordering, 'cause, you know, time's a-tickin'. Let me tell you, I go for the Chipotle Chicken Flatbread, because why not? It's a Friday, and I deserve a little south of the border sizzle. Next, I set my sights on the Blueberry Bliss smoothie. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Blueberries? Bliss? Isn't that just a little hyperbolic?" Hold your horses, Shakespeare, we're getting there. I hit 'Order' and embark on the arduous journey of, well, a 10-minute wait. Now, in some places, that could be equivalent to 2 years, a potential crisis in the making. But here? It's smooth sailing. I saunter into Tropical Smoothie Cafe like some sun-starved castaway hitting the shore. And guess what? They have my order ready. And by ready, I mean it's sitting there, hotter than a tropical summer afternoon, the smoothie cooler than a polar bear's toenails. I unwrap the Chipotle Chicken Flatbread with the caution of a bomb squad defuser, the steam escaping like a sigh from heaven. The first bite? It was like a Mexican fiesta had set up camp in my mouth, the flavors dancing around like a Mariachi band on steroids. Now, the Blueberry Bliss Smoothie, it's like they've squeezed the essence of sweet summer serenades and cool, jazzy nights into a single cup. The blueberries don't just whisper their tangy tunes, they sing in full chorus, and it's like Sinatra came back to life for one final gig in my tastebuds. So, to sum up this operatic ordeal of ordering and eating: Tropical Smoothie Cafe? More like Tropical Miracle Café. They turned my mundane Friday lunch into a gastronomic getaway. Who knew a quick trip to the tropics was just a click and a 10-minute wait away? So, what are you waiting for, an engraved invitation? Get on the Tropical Smoothie train! It's got stops in Deliciousville and Yum Town, and it's always on time."
"First time trying Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Staff and owner are very friendly and accommodating. I had the Chipotle Chicken Club, which was served with a flatbread as pictured. Flatbreads are all about the bread, and that doesn’t disappoint here. Very tasty and had just the right amount of chipotle sauce. The sauce is more on the watery, rather than thick side for those are wanting to know. The ingredients were all fresh! At 490 calories, it’s a great light snack and comes with a bag of chips (a few options are pictured as well). For the smoothie, I tried the Jetty Punch (strawberry banana) and it was delicious. Not super thick, which is what I favor. Texture is like a 7/11 slushee with little crunches from the strawberry. Menu is pictured, sorry it got a little dirty. If you want to see prices, you can go to the site as if you were going to order online. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!! Visit @instafoodsDFW on Instagram for more reviews!"
