Taco Palenque Harlingen

"The food is fine; it is the service that is the issue. When you are getting your food to go they will not assist you with containers for the condiments to take home to eat with your food. I really like the Brownsville location better. They are friendly and more accommodating. They understand that the customer has a take out order and gives them the containers they need to take the items home to enjoy their meal that they just purchased. The young male cashier is always rude when I go into order that I really hate to go to this location. When I see him there I just turn around and leave. I enjoy the food by this chain restaurant, but I rather wait and get it in Brownsville."

"I brought a friend, her first visit. We enjoyed the food. The chili bar amenities are fabulous. The clerk/cashier was very friendly and helpful in getting us the best deal for our money. That was very refreshing! Kudos and many thanks to her!"

"Food was good. Customer service wasn't the best as I did go late at night when the workers just want to go home so customer service isn't the best. Other than that good food and a good atmosphere."

"So disappointed I got a disgusting ham and egg taco egg was beyond watery and oily. I got home and tortilla was so wet I couldn’t even eat the taco it was gross . Never going back again this is the 2nd time this happens first time trying this place out and it was the same very gross I should’ve not given it a 2nd try."

"This place is ok. They need two cashiers on the lunch time hour. I did get my order right. But people was waiting after me, because the cashier was taking an order by the phone and no one else, was at the front. Good salsa, pico or guac. Beverages including coffee. Then if you give a try, do it after lunchtime, they may b less busy."
