"Not what I expected,,, I grew up on these donuts and I hate make a negative comment but when it’s 8:20am and the donuts are cold , and you ask the cashier for for some hot glazed and she frowned.. she stated no one ever ask for warm donuts. I almost didn’t even make that half dozen of glazed purchase.. Shipleys is known for good donuts this was my first time at this location, I doubt if I will be returning,,10th and pecan location has never failed…"

"I love donuts and rate these the best I've had in RGV, so far in my first year here. Got there today at 11 am and they were getting ready to put out a fresh batch of donuts. Didn't want to wait the 30 minutes but the available donuts were very good. Highly recommend! 2nd visit poor timing again, wanted donut holes but they were out. The guy says I could get the donuts he made but hadn't filled yet, that they should be similar just bigger. I think this was good thinking and honestly considering what the customer wanted. I will be back!"

"A new place with very courteous employees. They had specialty donuts decorated for Easter. Really, really enjoyed their filled donuts! The glazed were good but not spectacular. Sorry for the glare, didn't notice it when I took the picture."
