Breidert Green Park

"We attended the 11th annual Frankfort Bluegrass Festival July 8-9, 2023. The park is beautifully maintained and is a perfect venue for outdoor festivals. Close to restaurants and local shops."

"Breidert Green Park is a public park located in the historic downtown area of Frankfort, Illinois. The park features a large open green space, a gazebo, a playground, and a fountain. It is a popular spot for community events, concerts, and festivals throughout the year. In the summer, the park hosts a weekly farmers' market, where visitors can purchase fresh produce, artisanal goods, and other locally sourced products. During the holiday season, the park is decorated with festive lights and ornaments, and Santa Claus makes an appearance for the annual tree lighting ceremony. Breidert Green Park is surrounded by a number of historic buildings and landmarks, including the Frankfort Area Historical Museum and the Old Plank Road Trail, a popular recreational trail for walking, running, and biking. The park is a popular gathering spot for families, friends, and community members of all ages."

"Welcoming and aethetically designed, this park area exuberates a sense of warmth and luxury at the same time. Plenty of benches to sit around, clean bathrooms, shops and something for everyone. Parking was not an issue. I walked towards the kids play area, pond and through the nature trail. Update: construction of pavement and cemented trails inside park and around the lake is almost finished. It looks beautiful!"
