"DON'T HIRE THEM!! This company is a scammer, and THEY ARE NOT APPLIANCE TECHNICIANS. I called them to fix the problem with my refrigerator because it was not cooling since the evaporator was forming ice. THEY DID NOT DO A COMPLETE DIAGNOSIS and went straight to replacing the defrost heater (resistor). They charged me $90 for the part and $65 for labor. Three days later, the refrigerator's evaporator began to form ice again, which prevented air from circulating and the refrigerator and freezer from cooling. I called to report the problem and they told me that "the warranty is only for the part and not the labor." He was going to charge me for any other repairs. Still I decided to come. It took him a week to come after I called him twice to let him know to come check it out. He only did a visual check, he didn't even remove the plastic panel where the evaporator is to check it. He said he was going to replace the thermostat to "see if that would fix the problem" and that "the part would take some time to arrive," but he never returned or called. I preferred to do my own research on YouTube and found that appliance technicians do a complete diagnosis by checking the voltage and ohms of these parts: temperature sensor, thermostat, defrost heater (resistor), evaporator fan, and circuit board. I checked all of those parts with a multimeter and also found that the defrost heater they replaced was shorter and was not the one my refrigerator should use. Furthermore, what had failed was the evaporator temperature sensor and not the thermostat as he suggested. I ordered the defrost heater, temperature sensor, and thermostat package through Amazon for the price of just $20 and got them in less than six days. Compared to the $90 price they charged me just for the defrost heater. At Home Depot, that part is only $17. This is to let you know, as someone who trusts these types of technicians, that they do not do the job like they are supposed to. Beware of these scammers and never hire them to do a repair. This is how they spend their time "fixing" parts one by one, visit by visit to steal money from us for "labor or labor" and not fulfilling their guarantees. You just need to watch some refrigerator repair videos on YouTube to learn how to do it. Now, my refrigerator is working perfectly with the work I did."

THEY DID NOT DO A FULL DIAGNOSIS and went directly to replace the defrost heater. They charged me $90 for the part and $65 for labor. He came 6 days later after two more phone calls to let him know to come and check it. He only did a visual check, not even removing the panel where the evaporator is. He said he was going to replace the thermostat to see if that would correct the issue and that it probably was going to take some time for the part to arrive, but he never came back nor called.
