"The parking lot was completely packed. We had to park at the store next door. I ordered #6 which was a tamale, a chili relleno, and a taco. Whatever sauce they pour on both the chili and the tamale was a distraction. I really wanted to eat a good tamale, but I couldn't taste it. The beans were okay. The taco was fun because they fried the shell themselves. If I go again, I won't get the #6."

"I went for lunch and ordered the gordita plate. The food is delicious hot and made to order. Finished with their signature sopalpilla. Authentic Mexican food very selective hours but worth every penny"

"Edit: 3 years later, and the restaurant has changed ownership. The new ownership has immediately raised prices (understandable) and also instituted a surcharge for using a credit card. Unfortunately, this sets a very negative atmosphere over the entire dining experience now - they don't even list anywhere how much the surcharge is - and I have to remove at least 1 star for now. Very disappointing! It will be difficult to continue being a regular patron of this restaurant any longer given this very negative change. Edit: Almost two years later and it's still my favorite lunch spot in El Paso. Try the tortilla soup! Su Casa is the best restaurant (in its price range) in El Paso. It's my favorite place to go by myself or with family and friends. The staff and owner are amazing and very friendly. They've got the best tortilla soup in all of El Paso, too, but everything else on the menu has been delicious. Make the time to have lunch here! You will not be disappointed."
