"I’ve been shopping all morning having fun, but went in on Black Friday to shop for my granddaughters and encountered the rudest salesperson I’ve dealt with in a long while. Savannah wouldn’t check the price of a pair of pants, didn’t want to answer sales questions, and never cracked a smile. If the store was called Rude21, then she would be highly qualified to work there. This was the first store I left without buying a thing today."

"Worked there for a minute and was let go due to me needing to get my wisdom teeth removed and needed time to recover. Was told by the store and district manager that I had put in my two weeks, which I never did. I informed both parties that as a college student with lease that’s about to end in July and another that starts in August, I would need to move back home, Austin. Never did they ask if I was willing to work at a rue21 store in the Austin area that I could transfer to, but instead the store manager kept telling me I could stay and live at her house, which is completely unprofessional and uncomfortable for a 30 year old to be asking a 19 if they want to live with them. Favorite part is when she wouldn’t take no for an answer and had to lie and say my parents weren’t ok with me living with her. Honestly just go to any of the other rue21 in the area of Midland or Odessa, even Hobbs or Clovis would be better."

"I arrived approximately 15 minutes until closing time the evening of Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020. I see there are a few signs posted on the front door entrance stating mask requirements and holiday hours. upon entering establishment I was greeted with, "Reminding you we close in 13 minutes!" While I was not the only paying customer in the Lubbock Rue21 Establishment, I do not believe this is the way I've ever been greeted. Following our first interaction we were immediately followed up with, "What is it I'm looking for?" Again, not exactly the greeting I wish upon any paying consumer. As clearly indicated by the employees I was well aware my presences entering the store was not favored by employees. As we prepared to pay, the same employee whom greeted my family and I with the 13 minutes left until closing (long black hair, black and silver glasses, sleeve tattoo on her left arm) also wore her mask below her chin, exposing her full face. I'm uncertain of the precedence rue21 is conveying, however, not exactly an ideal experience I wish upon future paying consumers."
