"I went with my boyfriend and our friend. My friend got a ribeye streak with corn and French fries and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the monster burger with home fries and they were amazing! So filling! I got the chicken breast dinner with swiss cheese and mushrooms on top, AMAZING! The side of fried okra and green beans, very delicious! Our waitress Mary, made us feel very welcomed! She made us laugh had great conversations with us as our food waited. She is an amazing person! I highly recommend skillets! The experience was tremendously comforting and great!"

"I walked in and was yelled at to grab a seat. I picked a spot and waited. Eventually, I got to order a water. And waited. I gave my order: chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. Over 30min later, it arrived and I was warned that it was hot… I wish it had been. The steak and beans were room temperature at best and the mash was inedibly cold. I ate what I could and left. Would not recommend Skillets at all."

"Good home cooked food they make a great patty melt on rye bread the biscuits and gravy are really good and they have down to earth prices ......fyi patty melts are supposed to be on rye not Texas toast like whataburger does it"

"Horrible food. My scrambled eggs were runny. The service is always bad. I have seen the waitresses eating and sharing chips and preparing drinks for customers at the same time. The restrooms are always filthy. I have been there 3 times. I usually will give 3 visits just to make sure its not an isolated event. If you are not familiar with the area DO NOT EAT THERE. There are other places to eat that are much better."
