"Pretty cool place. Chicken fried steak is worth going back for."
"This is a unique locally owned place that you must see!! What a cool atmosphere with fast friendly service. Additionally, the live music is not overbearing. It's nice."
"Tried this place for the first time after wanting to for a while. It did not disappoint. Got seated immediately on a Sunday afternoon. Waitress was very prompt and friendly. Ordered two hamburger plates and an appetizer of cheese fries. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. Would definitely come here again."
"If Radiator Springs (from Cars movies) came to life, it would look like Cook's Garage. My family and I were on a road trip and wouldn't arrive until 9:45pm on a Saturday night while a concert was going on. We called ahead to order for takeout to make sure we could get food. Talked to Summer and she was extremely helpful. By the time we got there the dining room had opened up, and we were able to change our to-go order to be able to eat at the restaurant. We sat in Summer's section and she was an absolute delight. Everything on our order was 100% and cooked right. We had been looking forward to eating here after a recent article in the San Antonio paper that talked about Cook's being the new home to an iconic neon sign from the San Antonio Light (defunct newspaper). This was by far one of the highlights of our road trip.! Thank you, Summer, for excellent service."
"This is such a cool venue. We were there for a concert so we didn't get to try the food, but as a fan of antique memorabilia I absolutely loved this place. The drink prices were really good for a concert venue so I appreciated that. It never took us too long to get drinks either even other concert was really crowded. Really the only knock on this place I would say is the bathroom set up. They need to build on some bathrooms for sure. I would recommend checking it out though if you haven't. It's very cool"
