"We made a big takeout order, $100+, every single person had stomach issues the next 24 hours. Someone mentioned this place changed after the original owner was no longer around. I had never been here, I hope it was much better back then. I will not return. Chicken fried rice has more onions than rice and the chicken was so dry! I couldn't believe all the chatter I've heard about this place. Truly dissapointed!!"

For a while they were drive through only, then they were no longer open at all. -Can we still go there for their special uniquely flavored fried rice, Putt See Eww, Pad Thai, fried cheese wontons and Yellow Curry Coconut soup? "Best Thai in Lubbock! I love Thai. I seldom drive by a Thai restaurant without trying it. I have to say, there is some really good and unfortunately some really bad Thai restaurants in Texas. It is crazy how varied they are. But Thai Thai gets it right. I have eaten here a few dozen times and I will eat here every chance I get. Try number 17 spicy. The best beef noodle soup in Texas, maybe the world!"

"Wow. Lubbock, TX has a hidden gem for Thai food. This place is authentic and is not the American version of Thai food. You won't find a red or green curry here... Because this doesn't exist in traditional Thai food. I ordered the wontons called Thai Thai. They were good. I then ordered a coconut chicken soup and it was delicious. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You won't be disappointed. Also, they have a garden outside and they grow their own food that they use. Cool concept."

"Thai Thai grows some of their own ingredients in the courtyard garden. The food quality is top notch; fresh and well presented. The staff are friendly and the clientele seem like regulars, with plenty of space in the dining room. Check their menu for seasonal specials, like a summer sticky rice and mango dessert. The kids play area is a nice touch for families, and they do have plenty of high chairs. Located right across from the Bahamas Bucks on 50th east of Slide Rd."
