"So my experience may be alittle unique. I used to live in utah, and we have costa vidas all over. We moved to Oklahoma, and unfortunately discovered that costa doesn't exist there! I'm a pilot, and own a small airplane. So I decided to fly to Texas to surprise with wife with costa (she loves it, and talks about how much she missed it). When I arrived the costa crew was so kind! I asked if the could separate the hot and cold ingredients, because I had to fly back to Oklahoma with them. They were very attentive, kind, and willing to help! Thank you to the crew of this costa vida! 5 stars for sure!"
"Costa Vida was good…salad, Baja Bowl was tasty but portion size a disappointment. Was not a fan of their in-store music and their app/loyalty program is average compared to some of their competitors. But Qdoba (went once, never again) in Lubbock is awful, although there are some good Tex-Mex restaurants in Lubbock. And HEB grocery store is right across the street from CV! We would return"
"First time eating here. First thing we noticed was how many people were in the restaurant, four.. around dinner time on a Saturday. It was a little weird seeing so little people. The food was fast and delicious really. The service was also nice and effective. The atmosphere however did not feel like a Mexican restaurant nor a costal themed restaurant. It seems very basic and boring. Overall, we might eat again, I mean the food was good but yeah."
"I enjoyed my time here. The wife and myself went to try it out. We both decided it's the subway of Mexican food. Everything is laid out just like subway, I got a burrito and went down the line picking my ingredients then it was ran through an oven on a conveyer belt/chain. My wife got a guesadilla, same thing but went on a small grill. Both were hot and yummy, we also got chips and queso. It was good. Not really special, but good. The restaurant was clean and empty as we went mid afternoon. Only 1 employee, she did everything but only had our orders the whole time we were there. We both enjoyed it. It was a little pricy at $36 for all that and a water and coke. $20-$25 would have been better. For $36 we could have gone to a sit down Mexican restaurant, bellow $20 would have been taco bell level so I think $25 would have been ideal for the experience."
"This place gives me Chipotle vibes but of course different flavors. Same concept, you walk in and build your burrito, salad, taco, or plate. Spouse got a smothered chicken burrito and I got smothered avacados with chicken. Chicken was seasoned well and tempature of the food was good. A bit pricey but still worth a try."
