"After coming here for years I haven’t been by for the last few months. I see the side car motorcycle guy with his basset hound and I wanted to stop in for a quick bite. I was ignored till a couple sat next to me. Very unfriendly vibes were coming off two of the employees whom I’ve never met before. After asking for salsa and waiting till my food got cold I had to go to the counter and ask a second time getting up and getting it myself. As for a refill on my tea, I knew what to expect and I was correct…never got one. Y’all are lucky I left a $2 tip cause as bad and unfriendly as the service was y’all should be paying me to eat here. Sad to lose a friendly atmosphere over unprofessional staff. Not sure if I’ll be back any time soon."

"Hands down the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant. Waited an hour and they never put our order in. Never saw our waitress after she took our order - she never checked on us and seemed to have forgotten we existed. Was trying to be patient because they were busy. Went back in a little later and they still hadn't put our order in. We gave up and left and I only had a horrible cup of coffee that tasted like hot water. Can't imagine the food was any better but I'll never know. We're having to hit the road now on an empty stomach and we're all angry and my kiddo was crying. Do not go here for any reason. Seeing lots of one star reviews with the same experience. Horrible bookend for our road trip. Just avoid this dump."

"Great breakfast place with homemade everything. I had the cowboy (ehem COWGIRL) breakfast. Eggs, potatoes, homemade sausage, homemade sausage gravy and house made sausage and scratch biscuits. Even a side of house made salsa. My husband got the burrito and we both ate everything. Great prices too. We loved their delicious muffins and the staff are so incredibly nice. They really made us feel welcome in Alpine."

"Friendly service and great food. The stack with cranberries was so good, My daughter had the burrito and that thing was massive, and delicious. Son had eggs, potatoes, bacon, and biscuit so good! But y'all those biscuits! Wow!!"
