"Service was wonderful! The waitress was so very sweet and attentive. The food, however, was so insanely bland. No flavor what so ever. Not too sure why the machaca is "famous".. it was honestly reeeally bad- 85% of it was just super bland (what tasted like cheap canned) cheese. I was so disappointed. The beans had 0 flavor. The burger looked fantastic, but could only take two bites because there were hard bits in the beef that absolutely ruined it. It's definitely a senior citizen's spot, for those who've lost their sense of taste back in '85. I'll give it another try at some point, because the service was great, but I will be quite hesitant lol."
"The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it is good. On my last visit I had a problem with my fries being cooked too hard. They replaced them but the replacement ones were not that good either. I've eaten there years back and when I reacquainted myself with them the first visit was good except for one of the burgers purchased was over cooked. Their breakfast food is good. Nice customer service. I just think they sometimes cook the food a little too long."
"Great place for Mexican in El Paso! The menudo was so delicious that I wish I had ordered the large instead of the small! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and welcoming dining area. Good selection on menu, including kid friendly items. Great value for the dollar. Will definitely come back to make my way through the rest of the menu, as everything I saw on other patrons plates looked delicious and well prepared!"
"5 stars off the burger alone! I got the Lucy's burger and fries as a takeout order. The burger was well cooked and a little sloppy as all good burgers are. The fries were a little undercooked for me, if you like crunchy fries I suggest you order them well done. Also this place is popular, if you're doing takeout like I did you may be in for a wait. When I placed my order I was given a wait time of 20 minutes that ended up being 40. However, they were very busy and the staff was very polite. They have two huge TV'S that were showing college football so I didn't mind the wait. Even with the longer wait time the burger alone was worth the visit. I highly recommend Lucy's North 10/10"
"Came here for brunch. Got served quick hot coffee plus the breakfast came with fideo soup. Bad thing is that the soup and the main dish was all barely warm, basically food was almost cold. Decided not to say anything and kept eating. All the employees are very friendly and keep an eye out for you."
