Trumbull (Lyman) Park

"I haven't been here in years. But I used to play football for the Trumbull Park eagles. Coach Simms and coach Love were some of the most humble coaches out there. They taught me alot."

"[This review is focused on the playground.] Shade and slides. These two words describe the playground in Trumbull Park. There are other features as well - monkey bars, rope/net climbing elements, swings - but the number and variety of slides as well as the quality of shade provided by the large mature trees are the defining factors of this playground. There is also a water spray feature directly north of the playground (and a pool in the same park!). The playground is on the east side of the park next to the fieldhouse (which provides access to bathrooms when open). The play surface is wood chips and there are a few benches for seating around the playground."

"Love it! Children loved it, swimming and basketball and fun activities! Friendly service from the people working there. Just had a picnic and definitely going back!"

"Nice big park. It's pretty clean. Good place to workout outdoors. The pool is a fun place for children in the summertime. Staff members are helpful. Didn't see any gangbangers hanging out and seems to be pretty safe."
