"Mar Y Tierra used to be the best place for me and my coworkers. However, the prices had gone way up which I understand due to inflation however $35 for chips and two burritos seems excessive. Furthermore, historically they used to have great customer service which is just non existent anymore. As far as the food goes, the quality and quantity has been reduced heavily over the past year. It’s a shame to see what is happening to my favorite restaurant. Hope they can get back to the way they were."

"I really enjoyed the atmosphere, playing actual Mexican music. I was craving menudo... so this particular review is all about the menudo at this place. I enjoyed the taste it had a good slight zing of heat, but not enough to burn. I added the cilantro and onions it came with, plus I like a lot of oregano, so I ordered more to sprinkle on top. It comes with either corn or flour tortillas (who orders flour tortillas) it corn tortillas compliment the menudo taste. Very good tasting tea, sweet, of course. The service was very up to their best if I do say so myself. The waitress was always on the spot and checked on my needs but not bearing the table. By the way, you also receive tomatillo salsa, which is very tasty, especially with the homemade tortilla chips, you may need to arrive with an empty stomach, but don't over eat them leave room for the menudo for sure."

"Absolutely phenomenal! Found this place near our AirBNB so stopped by to grab lunch, and I will say that it was delicious! Priced well, good size portions of the flavorful food, and great customer service! Will definitely be returning when in Lubbock! 10 Stars!"

"Food was freshly made, the ingredients taste like hommade and the seasonings were there. I went at lunch, but had breakfast. The pancakes are absolutely fluffy and light. The flavor and in house, syrup is amazing. The salsa is chunky and more of a green salsa, not tomato based. Chips are the perfect crunch and taste how restaurant chips should taste. I also ordered a carne guisada burrito and took that to chow on later it was good also. This location is small but the food packs a big punch. The wait staff are all nice and attentive. I'll be back for sure!!!"
