"I love this place, my favorite place to eat I’m otr and when I’m out this way I always try to stop in parking for big trucks and they-allow over night parking. The place is full of history and the atmosphere is pleasant service can be somewhat slow at times but that’s usually because the place is busy. The food is phenomenal! Overall I love the Big Texan and everything it has to offer. I’m not sure about the other reviews but I suppose people are going to complain about something, it’s just the way they are. You can’t please everyone but you sure as heck are pleasing to me. I am looking forward to visiting the big Texan soon."

"This place is a sensory experience. I've lived in Texas my whole life and decided to check this place out on my way out of state. The food was very good.. But the food is just a bonus! Brewery ☑ Gift shop ☑ Candy shop ☑ Expansive outdoor area with corn hole ☑ Shooting games ☑ Live music ☑ Taxidermy ☑ Dinosaur ☑ Certified code cow ☑ Definitely worth a stop, this is a great Texas experience."

"After reading the reviews my expectations went up. Big texan met those expectations. I went on a Sunday so it was pretty busy got on the wait list but ended up sitting at the bar (Was faster to find a place to sit) the bartender was very friendly and welcoming. I had the 18 Oz Ribeye steak it was so delicious and tender. I ordered it Medium and it came more like Medium Rare but was still very delicious so I didn’t bring it up. They have some nice leather goods at the gifts shop made locally which is nice to see Overall was a pleasant experience and will definitely come back whenever I’m in Amarillo, TX!! Thank you!"

"Biggest tourist trap in town! The brewery produces some of the worst beers I've tasted. As a place that touts being a steakhouse, we were pretty miffed to be served hockey puck cuts that were tougher than nails at medium rare."
