Geist Park

"This is a small space that the municipality didn't know what else to do with. There is a decent playground for kids under the age of 10. The parking is tight, but there always seems to be a jacked up truck and/or a large SUV taking up two spots every time I've been. Bathrooms are clean. I've seen lots of people with fishing poles but I have no clue where they find a good place to cast a line. There's plenty of shade and a great picnic area though!"

"Fun playground for kids, beautiful hike along the creek that goes to a little swamp overlook. We went on a nature play day and the naturalist guided the hike and taught us a ton! Only gave 4 stars because the bathrooms were not very clean, one of the toilets didn't work, and the water fountain was off. But we'll definitely be going back for the playground and trails/creek access"

"Such a beautiful, scenic well maintained park 9 minutes away from the reservoir. We wanted to spend time at the reservoir but also spend some quite time with friends and Geist Park hit the spot! Clean park, well maintained shelter areas and a nice play area for kids. They also have restrooms which is always an added bonus. Decent size parking lot and pretty location!"

"Nice little park, hidden jewel in the neighborhood, free to public, well maintained trail. Nice for short walks and great for fishing. Been there few times and it’s never crowded. We live in Fishers for many and just recently discovered this place. Definitely will go more often."

"One of our favorite Fishers Parks. The trail along the river is .5 miles down and back has several fishing spots along the way. There are two kayak launches, outdoor picnic area, restrooms and a very large, new playground. Besides walking the river trail, our favorite part is kayaking out to the main reservoir and back. Definitely worth checking out!"
