"Posting based on multiple years' patronage. Recently, staffing and store hours have been problematic that years ago never experienced. Visited last year and store wasn't stocked well, sort of barren. They have somewhat traditional pool water testing, and they couldn't resolve my wall staining and high chlorine use issues (they suggested I replace all the water; which ultimately didn't have to do it. I'd visit for pool chemicals due to proximity and perhaps a few parts due to convenience. Used to be my place of choice but lately just for convenience."

"PoolCare is a local family owned and operated business. They sell all the products you need to keep your pool clean and well maintained, as well as providing to your door / pool services for you for mostly below ground, but also above ground pools. They will give you a small plastic bottle to fill with your pool water, that you can bring in each visit and they will test your water on their computer for you, so you know exactly how much chlorine, shock, or other PH balance type chemicals to add to your water. This is a FREE service they provide their customers. I would usually buy about 16 gallons of chlorine at a time, 4 gallons per box, to last me, and all was good. They have the high strength chlorine. When I have used the cheap Wal-Mart and Rural King gallons of chlorine, my PH balance did not change at all. I might as well dumped water in my pool, haha. So yes, it does matter where you buy and what brand you buy of chlorine, ha. They are very knowledgeable and can give you information about your heater, tank, pipes, cleaning, and all parts of your pool and equipment. They can also install and service everything too. Prices are fair and customer service always friendly. They even use a dolly and wheel out the boxes to my truck and load them in the rear for me. Hours and days open will vary with the seasons. I have used them many times and I recommend them for your pool needs."
