Reviews
"Great historical buildings at Walter Jones Historical Park"
"Came to walk the grounds midday, mid week. Quiet, peaceful, clean - great way to spend an hour and de-stress. Buildings and museum not open."
"Gorgeous and clean place to take family photos at. A must see place."
"What a gem of a museum and park! The volunteers are so nice and knowledgeable. The museum has some hands on items for the kids and a beautiful walking trail. Plus this is where you buy the Mandarin frogs! We will absolutely be back."
"This place was awesome. Rich history of the area is presented well. And has a nice little trail through a historic farmstead and a boardwalk along the river. And apparently the area was a place for Harriet Beecher Stowe to visit. When we were ther that had the Maple Leaf Divers talking about the wreck of the Maple Leaf and their excursion to find and raise artifacts from the ship. Definitely a great place for a day trip, it is pretty cool."
