Reviews of Timber Point
"Fantastic spot with lots of birds."
"A lovely place to bird, enjoy nature and scenery, and walk out to Timber Island during low tide!"
"Watch out for mosquitos in the woods, but the beach and island were great. I loved that you could walk over there during low tide to explore. The historic buildings had quite a bit of interesting information as well."
"Timber Point is a great place for an afternoon walk. The trail is well kept. It is not table top flat, but the minor elevation changes are gradual and easy on the knees. The Ewing mansion at the end of the Point is a cool piece of history to see. Don't forget the bug spray, however. The trail runs through a salt marsh on one side and a bog on the other so mosquitoes are plentiful. Also, parking is limited at the end of Granite Point Road. Both of those factors are worth taking a trip to the end of the Point."
"Beautiful place to go during low tide. The Ewing house is open to the public, but can't go inside it. There security cameras everywhere so do anything to the house. No bathroom, no showers, no beach access, and parking lot for the Ewing House. You have to park your car 2 miles away. Small parking lot, like 4-8 cars only. ...Park at Timber Point Trail, Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refure, 140 Granite Point Rd, Biddeford, ME 04005"
