"My husband and I have been trying to find an accountant since we got married last year. We saw separate accountants prior to our marriage a year ago. Barry is a local and we both agreed that we would work with him this year to see if he was someone we both would like to start working with. Barry is a nice guy but a terrible communicator. After several attempts (4 phone calls in two weeks) we’ve left messages with his staff trying to get in touch with him but haven’t had any luck in two weeks. We are anxious to get our taxes filed but we can’t seem to communicate with Barry in order to move forward. It’s unfortunate because I have family who works with him. So I pulled our file from his office, found another accountant who took care of us very promptly. I wouldn’t recommend coming to Barry unless you’re okay with waiting over a month to file or whenever Barry is ready to file for you."
