Reviews of The Singing Tower and Carillon
"Very well kept gardens with an amazing assortment of beautiful plants. The tower is an enormous piece of art with lots of details to discover. The cafe has very tasty sandwiches. The museum tells a great story. The highlight was listening to a live performance of the bells. Walking around the property and listening to the carillon was a great way to spend the afternoon."
"Serene. Beautiful and even with children it was no problem. They were enjoying the beautiful weather, feeding the Koi, rolling down the grassy hill, instead of being instead playing video games or watching TV. Plus glorious weather mad it a perfect visit."
"unique tower that has around 120,000 lbs of bells in it, very nice, good, I like it, please excuse me"
"Breathtaking… this is a perfect place for a wedding, graduation photos, or just a day of reflection and relaxation. Pack a lunch, as there are picnic tables, or there is a delicious café on site. Make sure you bring plenty of water with you, as you will be walking quite a bit. You may also want to bring some sort of bug repellent so that you can enjoy yourself. This place also hosts concerts, and has quite a few activities throughout the month. There is a special designated area just for kids, and also a gift shop that sells plants for you to take home. Please make sure you stop by, and see the Pinewood Estate/ El Retiro… this is a mansion that is on site, that is a step back into 1930s. Separate admission, but worth your time."
"“There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness, that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy, and its charm.” – Theodore Roosevelt Of course, it is not wilderness.. But bee here and walk is pretty relaxing. Only one thing: cost 24$ per person is really high. But to walk for one day.. once in your lifetime... I think it is ok."
