Reviews of Town of Occoquan, Virginia
"A great place to photograph for fall foliage."
"They have a nice, historical building they use for the town hall. It sits on the corner of the street and is tucked into town. Walking there is easy and there is a nice scene with the large tree and American flag outside. There are bricks sponsored by people and businesses for the walk in front of the building and a historical marker at the end of the walk."
"Quaint small town. Perfect for strolling and taste testing for an afternoon. Lots of great creative finds at ART ala Carte on Mill Street"
"Love this little town, beautiful old houses, restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy."
"This is a small and historic community with buildings that pre-date and survived the Civil War. It is a very nice place to stroll around and window shop. There are some bars and resturants for evening activities too. Note that when the town sponsors community events, it gets very crowded and the only way into town is shuttle bus or maybe even boat. Recommend a weekend visit if you have a couple of hours to spare."
