"First thing you need to know is that you have to call and make a reservation for a tour. The house is beautiful and well preserved. We got a great tour and our tour guide went out of the way to help us with some other local areas of Interest."
"This is a great historical tour of the former goveners house and the lifestyle his family lived. Public visits events are far and few between so any visit should be planned. The property is available to rent for functions as weddings and corporate events. The house has many artifacts from the family and some believed to be from the family or at least period. Overall the tour was quite informative and I would absolutely take my family there again. We home school our children so this was a great addition to their education."
