"Good monument..... super clean town...good roads"
"It’s a very cute city. I saw lots of restaurants and terraces, maybe chose the right day to go for a visit. It can get foggy and rainy. Just 1 hour from Halifax, easy road."
"Flowers starting to come up on the Lower Common and the band stand looks great! Saturday noon time traffic is really busy and there is no dedicated parking, no crosswalks and limited sidewalks so easiest to park on the grass with the direction of traffic if you want to park close to the gazebo It is also possible to park up the hill near the library or nearby and walk down. There are many plaques and markers dedicated to town residents that made significant contributions over the years and should be remembered. The majority of the Lower Common is on the side of a small hill which could have provided a natural amphitheater in the past. If you take time to visit, there are benches and nice shade trees."
"Most lists of the MUST things to do include visiting Lunenburg. And I agree. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A very colourful village with homes and businesses nicely restored. The museum is fine but we walked around for hours taking in the sights. There are lots of cafes and restaurants, some with a view of the harbour."
"Never been here...dont care...I just drove through and google wants a review like I'm an expert. Ok, great people. Awesome food....I loved the oyster and peanut butter hogie."
