The Historic Train Depot, once the site of a Civil War battle, is now available for rentals. Visitors can also learn how to become a member and support the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society. The institution interprets and preserves the historical, cultural, and architectural heritage of Coweta County through its programs, exhibitions, and collections, serving and engaging the diverse communities of Coweta County and the surrounding region.
