Reviews
"Just did a tour and had a fantastic experience! The interior was wonderful and showcased what it was like for the Ames family living there and the story behind Blanch. Would go again!"
"Surprisingly well maintained mansion featuring original furnishings and artwork. The 3-floor tour is good, but too rushed: there is a lot to see and 30 minutes isn't long enough."
"50 years ago as a young teenager me and my friends lived near here and use to sneak around and explore the property, thought it was someone's castle. Didn't seem like anyone was ever home. Never went inside or did anything bad. Remember a giant copper dragon as a fountain by the pond. The shed had an old pump up and down firetruck of sorts. One time we heard someone famous had just visited here."
"Beautiful Mansion on a lot of land. Information plaques are places around the outside of the home about the family and the build of the home. It's a really gorgeous site on a nice day. We didn't take a tour but just walked the grounds like a bunch of other ppl do. A few dog walkers. A large parking lot that looks like it can hold up to 100 cars or so. Beautiful pictures to take. And fun history to learn if your interested. Love this place we've come twice now and it's such a relaxing time."
"Beautiful rock fire-proof house. Great stories on the posts around the house. As of 2021 labor day, the house is not open for visitor due to Covid-19."
