"The true size and scope of the church is really only observed in person! It looks beautiful by the now present reservoir. Keep in mind that there are special rules around the church because of its proximity to the reservoir. No dogs, you can't even have a smoke. A bit of trash around but overall a beautiful site"
"Awesome place to visit and love driving by while working its always a different view!"
"Loved this! The area was beautiful. The church was amazing! The spot was perfect. Beautiful nature views. You can go inside the church as well. The ground was just dirt and the ceilings were high with beautiful beams. Birds were flying through and perching near by. If you like historic sites, beautiful architecture and nature, you would love this place."
"Scenic spot you’ll see a lot of in foliage season. The church has a small pullover at the side of the road with a small grounds and access to the church. Inside the church is mostly empty. There are a few hiking trails to be found behind the church up against the water. The lake here is a reservoir/drinking water so there’s no swimming, and they don’t want you walking on the ice cone winter- sometimes there’s a ranger hanging at the gate or up around the corner. On the front of the church is a huge US Flag, and it makes for one of the more photographed locations come fall. For your best pic you’ll want to go up the road a bit to the bridge and have a decent zoom lens."
"Beautiful art! It was an amazing sunny day when I went there....I couldn't go inside because there was a wedding that day and they were using the space. But on the right side, there was a trail with amazing views. The walk to the bridge was pleasant. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for scenic views by the water. They have portable latrines if you have to use the bathroom as well. No dogs are allowed. Plenty of parking were available on the street."
