"We absolutely loved this venue! We hosted a rehearsal dinner for my son here, and it was perfect. The slate and wood combination in the building looks great, with plenty of seating for all our guests. You can make your occasion as casual or as formal as you like at the Slate House. Renty and Mike were great to work with, and VERY responsive to all our questions. Just an overall wonderful experience!!"

"The Slate House was the perfect venue for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner with the wedding at the sister property Spring Lake just a few minutes down the road. The room was gorgeous with the slate walls, beautiful wood tables, trendy decorations and clean bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious and suitable for a caterer. Renty and Mike, the owners were very easy to work with before, during and after the event. Parking was plentiful and close by. The town area was a very quaint setting with fun lights strung across the street making the night just magical."

"Visited while there was no film crew today. I wanted to get photos to send to friends and relatives who have moved away. The signage for the movie set was still intact. While I haven't attended a function here, the restoration looks top-notch. I am so happy that they were able to get historical landmark designation for this iconic building."
