"Wonderful festival. Home tours, music, amazing crafts. Lotsa walking thru this historic town."
"The Waterford Foundation is preserving history! The town of Waterford is beautiful and unique where one can step back in time and experience life as it once was. The foundation does an outstanding job in protecting this wonderful place. I've been attending the fair for almost 20 years and always look forward to the experience. The admission price is very reasonable for such a priceless experience."
"What a deal!!!! Great Live music with some of the best bands, local dancers, mimes, magician, one-man band, historical actors, second street school, civil war encampments/re-enactors, and more. 19th century homes open for tour and unique Quaker village history. All for the $16 advance admittance fee. Then there are the very fine quality crafts,—works of art really. Tastey food and great Virginia wine and beer for sale. My favorite. All supporting the Waterford Foundation’s mission of preserving and educating about the village. What a gem of a Fair."
"We got married at the Waterford Foundation during the covid-19 pandemic. We visited around 10 venues and had a hard time deciding, but we knew Waterford was it when we visited. The venue exceeded our expectations all around. The architecture is extraordinarily charming while also practical. The buildings are well kept. We had our reception in the John Wesley Church and ceremony in the School. The proximity of the two buildings is ideal - far enough to feel different and close enough to be convenient. The church has a special feel and contributed a lot to making our ceremony unique. Many local guests had never been there and were delighted to discover Waterford. The kitchen worked well for our caterer and there are several other rooms available for flexible uses. The Waterford staff was accommodating, reasonable, and cooperative. The town surrounding the venue is perfect for pictures. It is close to Leesburg hotels and restaurants for out of town guests. We were able to follow all of the latest covid-related regulations and have a very memorable wedding. Everyone loved it. I highly recommend Waterford for a wedding or another group event."
"Waterford is such a beautiful little town! We loved staying in the converted church and exploring!"
