"Beautiful place to visit. It's been very well persevered and maintained. It's a very rich piece of the towns visit that most people don't think about when visiting Gettysburg. It's very convenient now that you can drive personal vehicles to the site and not ride a bus from the Military Center. Parking is accessed from a gravel road and the parking is gravel. It's very well maintained and I had no issues whenever I visited on a motorcycle. Parking at the Eisenhower home is kind of limited so you may want to go early in the day or in the off season."
"The view and breeze from the top of this hill where the house stands is spectacular. The guides were very informational. There were a lot of people in our group, around 40, so they split the group in half to tour the house. The house was beautiful and a wonderful time capsule. You can see the beautiful wallpaper Maeme designed of the state seals, Mr Presidents personal paintings and his little tiny office he would work out of."

"This is just outside of Gettysburg off of Emittsburg Road. You take a short drive off the main road toward the farm. There is a split where if you have a handicap label, you go right and park near the main barn by the house. If not, you will go left and take a small loop through the farm area. You will then break right to the parking area. Parking is free and there was plenty open for my visit in early June. I am not sure about when the tourist season gets heavier."
"Interpretive rangers really know their stuff and engage successfully with every visitor. They're passionate about their subject without being overtly fanatic - open-minded. House is well-done and self-guided tour is nearly flawless with free pamphlet. If wasn't so narrow, almost wish rangers could roam throughout to answer questions as visitors engage thought-provoking. But when leave the house, rangers available to answer questions visitors remember to ask. Too recent past, still some mysteries to be uncovered (ie original phone lines used.) Would also like to see some development on interpretation of Ike's livestock...breeding, etc. Seems opportunity for local college to partner with NPS an use buildings while offering interpretation on the other half of the site."
