Reviews
"The foundation's Schifferstadt Architectural Museum is the second oldest house in the county and the oldest open to visitors. Built in 1758 by Elias and Albertina Brunner, it is an upper middle class home that shows how a leader of the German pioneer community lived. A National Historic Landmark, it is one of the best examples anywhere of German-influenced home design. Coolest feature is its heating system--clean, energy efficient, radiant heating. It was a technology used only by German settlers."
