"Waited 3 weeks for a keyboard replacement. Told I would get calls and never did, was told it would be ready on two different occasions and it was not ready on either day. Finally when it was ready, told it was $120 and when I go to pay, all of a sudden it’s $208. I’ve been here before and it wasn’t like this but after this terrible experience, I will not be coming back. UPDATE: I went and got a refund for $60. I thought it was going to be $80 but I just didn’t care anymore and wanted to be done. When I got home, I realized the bottom of my screen was damaged and called to have it fixed. They didn’t fight me about it so I assume they knew it was their mess up and just hoped I wouldn’t complain. Fortunately, they were able to fix it within a week. However, I’m not knowledgeable about fixing computers but I dropped it off with a Mac that had a logo on it and received a laptop with no Mac logo on it. I spoke with some friends who are knowledgeable and they believe they just replace the whole screen with a generic but compatible part. I’m pissed off because if you broke it, you should replace it with the exact part or something really close to it. I hope this doesn’t affect the value of my computer but I guess we’ll see when I trade it in. As for my original review, I am still firm on not returning to this business. *MAKE SURE YOU TAKE PICS OF YOUR EQUIPMENT PRIOR/AFTER PICK UP & GET NAMES/WRITTEN DOCS WITH THE PRICE BREAKDOWN*"
"If you need your phone repaired, THIS is the place to go!! Chancynn helped me and my girlfriend out when she shattered her phone. He said it would take about an hour or so to fix, he had it finished and brand new looking in just under 45 minutes! And his attitude and friendliness was outstanding!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone if they need their phone fixed!!!"
"Took my father’s iPad Pro to get the battery/or charging port fixed recently, and the whole process was a quick and easy experience. They promptly called me the next day and let me know just the battery needed replaced and they could have it done within the next couple of days. When we got it back, it worked like a champ! Waaay cheaper than replacing the entire thing! Thanks again A+++++ Computers!"
"The staff were all polite and professional BUT... Recently took a 27" iMac there. The 2tb HDD bricked and needed replaced. They quoted about $135-$150 over the phone. I took it over the next day. While there they told me the glass screens on these computers are easy to break and expensive to replace. So they couldn't make any guarantees nothing would happen. At this time they said it'd likely be about double the cost I was quoted on the phone. I needed the computer for my business, and I understood the risk and let them have it. A week goes by, which is fine, and they call to tell me the verdict. The price for parts and labor has increased to $400. And all they refused any reliability for the screen - if taken off and broken, they'd charge $1,000 to replace it. Honestly, I might've let them replace the HDD and paid the $400, but the lack of reliability for their work is what worried me. The potential cost quickly spiraled out of control. I picked it back up, took it home and had the glass screen removed within 20 minutes without a crack using a hair dryer, razor knife and prying plastic (the little triangles you use to open phones). I'll be replacing the HDD myself. I was looking for someone that could do it and not charge an arm and a leg. The initial cost, and even second estimate was fine. But a third that could've ran me $1,400 was insane. The staff was good and polite, but the estimates lost them my business, sadly. I prefer supporting local companies, but yikes. That being said, I'd likely bring my stuff back here if it's not something they consider complicated or a liability."
"I came in with my iPhone and I told the guy behind the counter, “my iPhone won’t charge and I think it just needs a cleaning.” Without even looking at the phone he tries telling me I need a new charging port. I said something about him not even looking at it and that’s when he finally picked it up. He looks at it and says, “ I think it just needs cleaned.” All in all the guy behind the counter tried telling me I needed a more expensive fix on my iPhone when all it needed was cleaned. He did end up cleaning it and it’s 100% better now. I would rate higher if he didn’t try upselling me…"
