"Unfortunately, we found an omission on our tax return from the previous two years where we had followed the necessary steps to let L&A know of our life change. No big deal, we'll just get it amended, I thought. After a few emails back and forth with no returned calls, we are expected to pay a fee to file the amendments for the mistake of the tax pros. It's clearly documented that I notated the change to them when it occurred. This is a $10k mistake and they're hellbent on keeping their fees to amend it. It's unfortunate to have ruined our 8year relationship. If I wanted to dissect my tax returns, I'd pay $80 for the online software and do it myself."
