"Could not answer simple questions if they were licensed and insured. Could not state if they warrantied there work or if employees were drug tested. Then said he would rather not assist. Buyer beware!"
"Called to see if they sell appliance parts as the repair I am looking for is simple, but I was hoping to buy local and have it today rather than order the replacement online. First their phone tree lists parts as an option, but when you click it your get looped back to the original message. Not a big deal, but a small detail that is easy to fix. My real issue was with the woman who answered the phone, Stephanie. She did not listen to a word I had to say and simply jumped into trying to schedule someone to come out. When I was able to explain to her that I just needed a part she quickly said they don't sell parts and then we were suddenly disconnected. I am pretty sure I was hung up on. If they can't figure out how to answer the phone properly and professionally, I wouldn't trust them to ever look at my appliances. Try somewhere else."
"Technicians are good mechanically, but communication of invoices, payment and professionalism is poor. They ask for payment credit card over phone without quotes nor proper documentation. It feels kinda like “carpetbagger” technicians vs a professional local service. If you want comfort and confidence of “whomever” enters your home- this is not the place. We used them 3 times, and each service was an uncomfortable experience. While the actual work was acceptable - the 3rd and final service call is our last. They use “Westfield appliance” name, make it appear as a local business- but this business is a “subcontractor” con. We had someone call us randomly in a night to ask for more money- when we spoke to office the next day- the office was not sure whom called from their technicians. It was highly unprofessional. We will not be using them again for the lack of trust in their communications and “feeling” of being fraudulent. Disappointing because the technical work did seem acceptable."
"Called to schedule service on Wednesday for a Friday Service from 4-6 pm. Got a voicemail Friday at 2:30 on Friday from a central call center informing me that the tech had an emergency and could not make the appointment, therefore, they were canceling the appointment. No request to call for a reschedule. Canceling my appointment and that was it. I was surprised when I called as it was obviously a call center as this says Westfield Appliance Repair. I am glad I didn't take the day off to be at home for this appointment!"
"We called and set up an appointment for them to check our ice maker. We had to give them our credit card info up front. This was a concern for me, but I did it. They sent someone out and he said the whole motor needed replaced. We really need the ice maker for my husband who is disabled. They said they had the part and would come in two days to fix it. Never heard back, so called and they acted like they had no idea they should have it scheduled.The lady said they didn’t have the part and it had to be ordered, but they would be there the next day when the part came in. No one called, called and again the lady acted like she had no idea what was going on with the repair. She called back and there was an invoice issue and the part wasn’t ordered. Can they do it the next day? The next day they have the part, but he is very busy and can’t be there until after 5. We were unable to be there after 5. I asked for my money back and was denied and asked to talk to the owner and he never called. This was the worst service experience I have ever had. Called another company and it was repaired for half the cost and with excellent service! Don’t use this company!!!"
