"They were very nice and we adopted a very sweet dog who we named Benny."
"Was told I was approved to adopt the dog I picked, they pushed other dogs on me , then ghosted all my calls . Didn’t have the courage to tell me the real reason why I didn’t get the dog I wanted."
"First, applied online for a puppy. They do not remove puppies if they are already adopted. We drove over an hour, hoping to get a puppy. A woman with short hair behind the desk was rude and seemed inconvenienced that we even showed up. We were abruptly told “we only do stuff by appointment and yea we got your application.” We asked about the puppies we applied for and they said “yea they are not available anymore. We only have two puppies left. You can look at them but you won’t be able to bring them home”. We were shown the puppies, they couldn’t tell us the difference between them and it was very unorganized. We left sad, especially because we brought our 5 year old daughter hoping to bring a puppy home. I understand the application process as we already have animals at home. We were hoping to give a puppy a home with a big backyard and a lot of love. But this humane society or its employees almost seem annoyed when it comes to interacting with the public. It’s very sad for the animals. In regards to your response, the application was put more than an hour. The staff was very inconsiderate and seemed annoyed we were there. Very short and rude. I have adopted plenty of pets without issue. I also think it’s funny you have time to reply to review instead vetting applications for potential adoptions. Really shows where your core values lie with the animals. I never said anything I regards to your application process either. You should be more clear on your website, advertise properly, and have employees be kind to potential adopters. I see a lot of one star reviews after googling you. Do better."
"I am very familiar with this Humane foundation and all the good they do for the pets and families that come in. I have adopted multiple times, (Iggy, Binx, Willow) and every single time has been an amazing experience. Jordan is extremely helpful, and always gets back to me any time I have any questions about legit- anything and everything. It takes a huge heart to do what the employees and volunteers do on a daily basis, and they should be proud of how amazing they are. They all care, and it shows! I am grateful for the opportunity to adopt, and I look forward to opportunities in the future to foster and adopt. Thank you for being amazing, and for giving the doggos and cattos and opportunity to find their forever home! ❤️"
"The compassion of the staff at this shelter is remarkable! They helped me find a dog that fit my needs (must like cats), and she adores them! Equally important, they adore her! They keep a clean shelter and are passionate about their work. 5 star facility!"
