"My Mom brought her Puppy in to be Spayed. The personnel at the front desk, the nurses & Doctor whom we met were all friendly and seemed like they really cared about our Puppy."
"My poor baby has a broken tail and I've had to visit them a couple times a week for a month now. Their care is impeccable. The drop off visits are so convenient for my schedule and the thoughtful options they discuss with me for the future of her tail are great instead of going straight for amputation"
"I use to take my pets here years ago. Our dog had to be put down in 2008 and he was the last one until 2018 when we started getting more cats. I knew our vet had left from here and I was a little nervous coming back not knowing any of the staff. We had a vet closer to us but they were too expensive and just didn't seem to click with them. So I switched back. Oreo saw Dr. P and she was awesome with her. She needed a dental but I was sure she had asthma and wanted her checked before putting her under. She was very thorough in telling me that she thought my assumptions were correct and what things to change at home to help her. Scheduled x-rays to make sure it will be safe to put her under. I trust her like I did with Dr. D when he was there. Their wellness packages are very reasonable and makes it easier to spread things out similar to a credit card account."
"I had extremely high hopes for Banfield Animal Hospital in Castleton, IN. We had recently got a new puppy who was only 8 weeks old. When we first got him, his right eye was a bit cloudy so we assumed he was blind. This eye was not painful and did not bother him at all. A couple of days later, it became painful and I called Banfield and they got us right in. They supposedly did several tests including testing for ulcers(I don't believe this test was actually done) and all tests came back negative. The Dr. prescribed our pup a steroid eye drop and some pain/anti-inflammatory medication. She told us to call if he got worse. 2 days later, he got worse... we couldn't hold him or do anything to help him. We called Banfield and they again got us right in to be seen... they "checked for ulcers" again and again "nothing was found". They then suggested we go to VCA Animal Hospital (I HIGHLY RECOMMEND). We go to VCA, within an hour they call us and said that our pup had an extremely large ulcer, very deep in his eye and that the steroid eye drops that the Dr. at Banfield prescribed, actually is what caused him so much pain and made his condition worse. To say the least, I was NOT happy. The Dr. at Banfield wanted an update on him, so I called and told them what was going on and I didn't receive a single apology.. refund.. what can we do to help... NOTHING! So $200 down the drain to receive meds and care that made our pup worse. DO NOT RECOMMEND!"
"I like Dr. T but LOVE Dr. R! My cat Dusty had quit eating. Dr. T did all the right tests, xrays, bloodwork, etc., but found nothing. Dr. R decided to do a dental in case it was an infected tooth but instead found that a thread had wrapped around the base of his tongue and partially severing his tongue. She removed it and saved his life! She has been doing frequent checkup's with him and as of yesterday his tongue has fused back together! He still has healing to do but I can not stress enough how amazing Dr. R is!"
