Reviews
"The only store I ever want to stop at ... the people that work there are friendly and down to earth ... genuinely good people"
"I have done work for this place as a contractor for many years. 5-7 years..very rarely do I look at gas station reviews but the owner asked how long I would be before I got to his business. When I gps to give him accurate eta I saw a 3 star rating overall. I read a review posted about the business. I find the whole thing as a joke honestly..demand someone else move their car? Recognize someone is a new hire but give them a hard time? Say your a loyal customer of 7 years then make a statement about race? If race hasn't been an issue for 7 years why would it be one now? The people here has always been nice to me i just felt they deserve some balanced reviews. They may not be perfect people but they definately fall into good people catagory."
"After being a loyal customer for seven years and never mistreated by any employee, I was denied the opportunity to make a complaint to the owner of this establishment on April 10, 2019. In March 2019, a vehicle was parked at a pump that I needed to use so I pulled up behind it and parked to go prepay. The cashier informed me that the vehicle had been sitting at the pump closest to the entrance door for 30 minutes and she did not know why. I asked if she had inquired why and she said no. I asked if she could ask them to move the vehicle so that I could purchase gas and she simply stared. The cashier was a new hire. It was clear to me that she wanted me to pay for my gas and move my vehicle to another pump, although the vehicle at the pump had been there for 30 minutes. In other words, she wanted me to be inconvenienced instead of finding out why the vehicle and occupants had been sitting there for 30 minutes. I informed her that I would go across the street and obtain fuel from the competing Texaco station. Oddly, when I returned to my vehicle, a female quickly exited the passenger side of the SUV and entered the driver's side of a vehicle that was parked on the opposing side of the same pump. So, both vehicles had been parked at a single pump for 30 minutes. On April 10, I entered the store and the manager was at the counter cashiering. The new employee was stocking. I greeted him and told him that although the new employee may be one of his best, I had encountered a problem and the security cameras would confirm what I wanted to share. The manager informed me that he does not review his security camera recordings. I proceeded to describe the March incident and the new employee (both manager and employee are Middle Easterners) walks up to the counter and allowed to interrupt me and to tell lies about what had occurred in March. I stated to her, "You are lying." At that point, instead of allowing me to completely share what had occurred and despite seven years of being a loyal customer, the manager dismisses me with the following statement, "You said she is lying and I do not need your business." Before exiting the store I stated, "In a America, the customer is always right." I happily returned to my vehicle and drove across the street to the competing Texaco station. The employees are ALWAYS right at 3 G's. If you are mistreated or have a complaint nothing will be done about it, at least if that particular employee is responsible. I regret being a customer for seven years. I am grateful that the true nature of the owner was revealed to me. It simply wasn't American. It was anti-American and that transcends race."
"Quiet shopping. Helpfully, you can be asked if you're sure you've bought all you can for your visit here. Tons of glass pipes, trinkets and the like. Can you drink a tea for $0.99? You can here!"
