Reviews of Meridian Visiting Physicians
"We got recommended to this place from another company that shut down. Ever since we have been dealing with this company it has been nothing but excuses and I don’t think they even know or care what they are doing in the office. My mom uses home health services to help through the week and we can’t even get them to sign 3 pieces of paper correctly to get her services restarted and lord forbid a med refill if they can’t do the simple things correctly how can they even treat my mom if it becomes an emergency or something I don’t trust this company at all. Like I said we were revered I guess we got the short end of the stick and no one else wanted them for their loved one. Do not choose this company do research and run from here if you care about your loved one"
"I have been using their services for a few months. They are absolutely amazing. Kristen, Teddi and Amanda go above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of everytime, no matter what the situation is."
"I was with them for a time because I was ill and homebound. I have never actually seen a physician through them. Different NPs come out to manage your serious illness and prescribe meds. Because different ones come out, getting the refills can be tricky. There was a lot of trying to track down the specific NP that wrote each script. There was one lady who was rude when she would come to my home, my aide noticed it too. Kind of like she hated her job. She refused to remove her shoes or wear booties, even during Covid. She said she didn't want to track germs home and refuses to buy booties. We had this discussion everytime she came out. (I guess she was okay with dragging germs into my house after being at other sick people's homes). We used to put sheets down because I have new carpet. They were always forgetting basic equipment like a thermometer or a blood pressure cuff, or something was broken... they left an OxMeter at my house once, so no wonder. I was very happy when I was able to go back to a regular doctor. I understand the need for NPs, and being in Indianapolis means you see more of them. However, a doctor should have seen me once. NPs are not MDs. The doctor that oversees my case should have noticed that blood pressure and temp weren't being recorded monthly, unless of course, that box was just filled in. Just sayin."
"I think (hope) I interviewed with this company last week. Interview went well. The HR director and I chatted for a long time. He requested my resume and sent a request over for a background check, but failed to mention the position he had in mind for me already had been filled. I only found out after reaching back out to them because I was told I would be invited back for an interview and never got a call. Pretty disappointing, honestly. Everyone has been really nice, but they ghosted me after what seemed like a good conversation. Always a bit frustrating, even if not intentional."
"It was wonderful. Lindsay is so wonderful and listens to everything I say. She makes me feel at ease and she genuinely cares about my health. I wish everyone had access to this service, someone who is available to do online or home visits and far more accessible and easier to see than a regular doctor."
