"My experience mimics Dan’s previous review: I had used Platinum Accounting for several years, and I had generally good experiences with the accountants who helped prepare my previous returns. That is, until this year. I submitted all of my documents in February, and I emailed and called every few weeks to check in, but I didn’t hear back from my accountant until April. I had to ask the office to see if my tax return was done mid-April, and when I finally picked it up, I found some missing items that should have been included. I ended up needing to file an extension, and I still haven’t heard back since. I finally decided to just use TurboTax to file my tax returns after not hearing back. Long story short: good service in the past, bad service this year. I’m sad that others have had a similar experience as mine."

"Let me start by saying our experience was great at first. We dealt with Chase. He was responsive and always helpful. I emailed him a few times, no response. I called and found out he had quit. I was a little disappointed that my tax firm didn't call to let me know, but after speaking with John (I think), we felt better. He was apologetic to not contacting us, asked great questions, and said he would review our stuff and contact me in a few days. A week went by, no call. I called again and he was on the other line and would call me back. Another week went by, no call. I decided to email their main contact account...and nothing. I'm losing faith rapidly. Taxes are something you shouldn't mess with, and in many situations things are time sensitive. I really had high hopes for this place."
