"I felt comfortable right away when Dr.Gray came to get me from the waiting room. Something about him — I think it was his calm, quiet demeanor. He didn’t scare me. During the visit, he was not in a hurry or rushed. He seemed interested in learning the reasons for my anxiety and depression, and he offered to help me with medication and asked if I would like to see a therapist in your office, which I agreed to see someone there. I thought it was odd that there were no plaques or pictures in his office though, but I figured the reason was probably so the patient could focus on the conversation during the visit. However, a few interesting, colorful pictures might lighten the atmosphere and help the patient to relax a little. I remember being a little tense, but it was a good visit."
