"Chillingly cold hearted. Was paying on a medical bill as often as budget permitted during life turbulence. Was slated to pay off entire bill within the next 3 weeks, and I suddenly get slapped with a lawsuit adding on over $450 more to what was only a $560 bill to begin with. Who, with any sense of decency, files a lawsuit on a $300 remaining balance of a medical bill (medical- beyond my control) when there has been an established record of payment? It’s not like I rang up a charge card at Macy’s and decided to just give the finger to the creditor. The bill was unavoidable and being paid on! It didn’t matter that my husband left me with 3 kids, slashing our household income in half for weeks on end, and when we finally reconciled, we struggled to catch back up on finances. It didn’t matter that not long after that, he lost his job. It didn’t matter that we were already paying hundreds a month in medical bills alone and are just now getting back above water. Despite all this, we have been been paying on the bill, though not as quickly as Jon fancied. We weren’t avoiding the bill, seeing as how half of it is paid off, but at the time it was a matter of keeping our home paid and utilities connected. He basically said, “Yeah, well. I have 5 kids, so I know how it is.” I bet you do on your attorney salary. You know what it’s like to rob Peter to pay Paul, do you? Your blatant lack of regard and compassion suggests otherwise. Look, I’m not blaming anyone for our hardships, don’t get me wrong, but have a heart and try to work with hard working people who are trying their best to make ends meet and keep food on the table for their family. Sorry, sweet children- no food for you tonight because we have to pay the attorney faster! I offered to pay this original bill off in full before the court date- he said no, you can either go to court or keep paying monthly what I’ve asked for with the added $400+ tacked on. The option he suggested of going to court and missing out on more money by having to call off work when we are already hurting sounds sensible, right? It’s bullies like Jonathan O’ Hara who give attorneys a skeezy reputation and keep families financially suppressed, just because they can. Those like him are the reason bankruptcy rates are sky high- people feel backed in to a corner, as though they have no other options. It takes a certain kind of dark soul to make your career/living out of sticking it to the sick and destitute. I guess I will be taking the tax return money that I planned to use to get my kids eye exams and new glasses that are a year overdue to pay this heavily padded bill so that this clown can buy himself another vacation home or sports car. It’s ok though- it’s only money and we will bounce back. Jonathan O’Hara on the other hand will always have a putrid soul and black, icy heart of stone to match. I certainly hope he never has to suffer the hardships we have. You know what? What goes around comes around. It might not come around today or tomorrow. It might be several years from now in your final hours. It might come around on someone you care deepest for- however it will come around is what is unknown, but karma never forgets. That is the certainty and balance in life. There is some solace in knowing that one day Jonathan O’Hara will have to answer to his maker."
"the server waa not attentive, personable or very well trained. and when there was an issue with my friends food, instead of remaking it, the manager came to table, took her food and explained why she ordered wrong. I've never been to a restaurant where they don't let you keep your sides while they remake or remove the food off your bill"
"Got sued for an ambulance bill. Was told if I started making the agreed payments then I won't have to re appear in court again. 3 months after making agreed payments they tried bringing me back into court. I still haven't went and have been making the agreed payments since September or October of 2018. It is now April 15th 2019 and I'm supposed to be in court for whatever reason unbeknownst to me. They are supposed to open at 8:30... It is now 8:42 and I still cannot get through to the office. This place is ridiculous!"
"I watched this man in a Michigan City Court house making a pregnant girl in labor leave the hospital or He was going to file a failure to appear if she did not leave the hospital for her court date. SHE LEFT THE HOSPITAL DURING LABOR TO HAVE A CHILD AND WENT TO HER COURT DATE. I have already contacted the the Indiana Bar. If this is the guy you want representing you or your company. You should do some soul searching.. Filing a Foia request to get courthouse video. wait till I get the video. I will posted it everywhere on line. once I can proof every word I am saying.. God Bless Freedom of speech."
"Has continued to send me letters and summons to court even though I have filed bankruptcy and informed you of said bankruptcy. I do believe that I will be taking this up with my attorney to see what action I can take for harrassment..."
