"I. took a gold chain in to get appraised and the salesperson act like she didn't want to help me told me my chain was fake. I took it to wear i purchased it they confirmed it was real and made me a nice offer . might wanna train ur sales people a little better on customer service she was rude. Thanks"
"This IS NOT a community establishment, their prices are extremely predatory and their behavior upon entering can only be described as shifty, sketchy, you can see in their eyes they know they are about to try run you through the cleaners. The sad part is their tactics probably work 90% of the time due to the fact it’s a very low income and needy community people have no other choice but to accept their offers. Their pricing on the items you sell them should be a crime! At the prices they offer they are not only looking to double their profit but quadruple and even sextuple it! I rode my bike 20 blocks with my crossbow on my back mind you it’s a mongoose 15speed with all components working breaks gears kickstand reflectors everything in tact for them to try to give me TEN DOLLARS! 10 dollars for me to walk back 20 blocks, not even going to say on here what they offered me for my fully kitted out crossbow WITH THE ORIGINAL STRING! unfreyed untattered brand new original string. Which should tell you that the bow itself is practically brand new, I payed 220 online and put another 70 dollars into attachments. If you have a choice don’t take their offers, I didn’t, I walked right out and rode back broke! If you can just go somewhere else. This place is overpriced and preys on poor people."
"The staff is nothing special except for brandi. Shes a nice lady and pawn shop workers are usually exhausted by their clientelle. Im probably judging the other folks who work there too harshly, its a rough job. I will however strongly caution anyone thinking about pawning anything there. The interest rates are absurd. Almost like its a pawn shop. Anywho, shame on me for thinking id get a cheap loan there. My balance doubled in 3 months in spite of 350$ in finance charges upfront."
"In December of 2020, I put an HP laptop with Windows 10 in the layaway for $200 + warranty fee totaling $216 (a 30 day warranty should be free) On 3-6-2021, I got it out of layaway, paying the final amount of $116. Once home I discovered that the operating system is not the standard Windows 10, but "Windows 10 Pro Education", specifically designed for schools, with security for grades K-12 that prevents upload of content to the internet!!! Additionally, I turned the laptop sideways to prevent dropping it while reaching for something & the total screen went sideways, portrait mode & won't return to the standard landscape mode of ALL LAPTOPS & COMPUTERS! Meaning they installed it with a version designed for tablets! This is really shady business! 3-8-202@ --. I took the laptop back and they refunded my money with no problem. If you buy a laptop here, be sure to THIROUGHLY INSPECT IT and the operating system before purchasing."
"Most of the employees are helpful. If you have a good history with them (as in you don't lose items you pawned for a loan), they will continue to give you a fair amount for your item. Their item selection is fair at best in my opinion. I always pop in to check it all out every couple of weeks, and there are some deals to be had. I got a great deal for $25 on a sound bar, the same one I already had at my house & spent $270+tax, but it was missing the power cord for the subwoofer. At the end of the day, it's a Pawn Shop. If you see something you like, put it on layaway! Most of the good items are in the back, on loan."
