"I wish I could give this company no stars. I gave this company 2 chances to prove they are not a terrible service. The first experience, my rates continuously raised due to me living outside of the city (whom has a contract with the company). This means my rates can increase for no reason at all. Funny thing was that there was no other service that would work with me due to "being a Republic Service area". My second experience, I was originally told that the only way my bill would increase is due to the materials required such as gas. Obviously if gas prices go up, the cost goes up. That should also mean the cost of services should go down when gas prices go down. Your bill does not go down. It only goes up. When I checked my invoice, the gas AND the service fee both went up. The service fee will start out low at about $80 or so. Then they gradually add $10 here. Then a few months later they add another $20. This company will take your money more and more, then try to sound sincerely sorry for the bad experience to try to rope you in again. Don't fall for it."

"Wish I didn’t have to give a star worst service ever never pick out trash and recycle up on time some weeks they don’t pick it up at all. Call them they say we will be there tomorrow but they never show up till your next service pick up date. They never have a issue taking payment on time but provide horrible service this company literally is trash"

"My trash has been missed 5 or 6 times in the past few months. Every time it is missed, I submit a "missed pickup" notice on the site. No response. I get called this time and get told "someone will pick your trash up on Monday". Monday comes, no pickup. I call in to see what the deal is and get a "sorry about that we will make sure to pick it up tomorrow". Low and behold tomorrow arrived and my trash was never picked up. Cancelling my service. Go with someone else."

"We were with this company for over ten years. We never had any real problems until this past year. In 2022 their were multiple weeks that Republic Services did not provide scheduled pick ups. I then started to call around to other companies and discovered that we were paying 2.5 times more than their competitors. I called Republic Services to discuss are bill and they said they would match the competitors rates... Great! So after agreeing on the new rate we made our new payment. The next billing cycle they said we had a $10 late fee and also an additional $35 service disruption fee. I called to see if we could get this rectified, this had to be a mistake, as we just changed over to new rates. The customer service representative refused to reverse the charges for us. I cancelled our services effective immediately. I will never recommend or use this company in the future."
