Reviews of Old City Hall
"If you ever find yourself in Philadelphia, check out the Old City Hall, which also first housed the U.S. Supreme Court. It’s quaint and free and you’ll be the only one there."
"Stopped in for the gift store and saw the old city hall area as well. Not a lot to see so it was a quick visit but if you're looking for a souvenir from the place it's an easy place to get it since you are right there after the tour for the main attraction. Gift shop is a bit small but had a T-shirt which is what I was looking for so it did the job. Staff were friendly and helpful."
"Where the first Supreme Court convened. Not a lot to it but it gives you a feel for what it may have been like."
"This beautiful colonial building is situated adjacent Independence Hall. The structure was completed in 1791, and served as City Hall for Philadelphia, which was once the nation’s temporary capital. The city lent out its courtroom in this structure to the federal judiciary, including the Supreme Court."
"Nothing special. That being said when visiting any of the nearby buildings why not step in and have a look at what the supreme court would have looked like. Also has a small gift shop for those that are interested. Also it is free which is always a good thing."
