"The inflated charges began at the 'free' consult that was $100. We agreed on a pay as we go method. I made multiple payments before my case was dropped. He billed me full price for everything, all drafted paperwork, mailing letters, answering phone, etc. At the time my case was dismissed I owed $45. I understood that I would receive a final bill. What I did not know is that bill would go back 5 months. I called to ask why I was sent multiple invoices with a balance if you believed I owed more. He said didn’t know the amount due but if I came to his office (45 minutes away) he would explain it. When I went to talk to him I was told the women behind the front desk was responsible for billing, even though I was charged as if he did it, and that is just how they did things.
